The Coalition of Greater Little Rock Neighborhoods, Little Rock, Arkansas, was founded in 1990 to be the collective voice of neighborhood activists seeking a quality residential environment for everyone.
Five Points addressing remedies for derelict housing, improving remedies against crime, and planning community growth, were originally established, and remain in force today.
- Reduce neighborhood crime and increase police on the streets
- Develop a growth management plan for the city of little rock
- Establish a rental property inspection program
- Make changes in code enforcement procedures that will encourage rehabilitation, not demolition, of abandoned and derelict buildings
- Assume responsibility for sidewalk maintenance
